To accept the challenge from his last letter home and “pass on the kindness, the love, the precious gift of human life, through random acts of kindness” that will impact and honor our military, the fallen and their families for their selfless service and sacrifice.

In case you missed the announcement , it was made as the Senate was leaving town for break, Maria del Carmen Aponte was appointed, by recess appointment, Ambassador to El Salvador.
This is important to understand, Ms Aponte had previously been nominated for a similar position during the Clinton administration however she withdrew her name upon learning she would have to undergo an FBI background investigation. Seems Ms Aponte was cohabiting with a member of the Cuban spy ring. Ms Aponte refused to submit to investigation and some thought disappeared.

While suturing up a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand had been caught in the gate while working his cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama, and his being our president.

Well its been a couple of Days since the Glenn Beck 8/28 Washington Revival and Man I'm still in awe. The whole Event was flawless, and to see 500k people singing Amazing grace was a site to behold. Glenn and Friends, did a wondeful thing saturday especially for the SOWF (Special Operations Warriors Foundation) 5.7 Million dollars + for our Special Ops Heroes Families who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their Nation.

Primary night is now behind us. Some folks are thrilled, some disappointed some just plain indifferent to the outcomes. One thing is clear however, the people have spoken loudly not just in Florida but elsewhere as well..
Across the state of Florida the influence of the anti career politician movement proved too much for Bill McCullum to over come. Rick Scott, a new comer businessman, has emerged victorious and will face a stiff challenge against Alex Sink. This will be a tough battle and Scott will need all the support we can muster on his behalf.

Well I have to say I couldn't be more disappointed with the primary results here in Florida. My Candidate Dan Fanelli, a man of incredible Integrity and dignity hardly moved the needle and once again a career politician backed my the Good Ole' Boys won.
